Our mission is to bring you stories by and for the students at The Art Students League of New York—sharing the voices of emerging artists as they navigate learning, creating, and exhibiting at our home base in New York City, with the hope of not only inspiring students to engage more fully with their artmaking practice but also of showing everyone that anyone can be an artist, if they’re a student at The League.
Since 1875 The Art Students League of New York has transformed people into artists by providing studio-based art education for all. Artists like Georgia O’Keeffe, Romare Bearden, Will Eisner, and Yayoi Kusama studied at The League. Today’s students create art with the same passion that those greats did.
